Ok. I am sick and could care less about my skis right now And the lake has been thawed out for a few weeks now And with all due respect what does that have to do with anything ?

Thanks for the positive comments.
most parts are ready to go in from the donor boat. Sanoman is sending me a fuel cell
It should not take too long to assemble , but I am not in a huge hurry

The shoe came with the hull it was screwed in place so I could remove it for paint. I had to tweak it a bit to make it fit after paint .. I am not sure about the length of the plate yet ... I already trimmed a bit off of it to get a good fit on the bow edge of the plate

The guys with the green one found a flush fit to be perfect with a little left sticking out the center. That was for flatwater, surf it could have used about 1.5 - 2" longer on the sides. This all really comes down to rider weight and the length of your pole.. When they first ride it at full length it was pushing the nose down into the water. When we created the plate it was overkill in length. Chad if you cut it too short let me know, I will help you out since after all this is a beta hull and technically you are testing!

Thanks Brian. This will be mostly a flat water boat. I was curious if I should try it long first. I'll trim that plate down as recommended

A bunch or seasoned riders rode the Brawler at Flat Water Friday and decided to cut almost flush. It was perfect for flat water if you are going to do BF etc. For surf an additional 1 1/2 -2" is recomended. It all depends on what you are doing with it as well. Ride plates are for experimenting after your in the water. Leave it longer and cut to your liking.
