I had the Coffman that looked just like the R&D Slut had. It was reliable, easy to install and made like 8 hp supposedly. For the money it was great. One thing I like about it over stock was it lowered the center of gravity. I thik it is still in the attick.

Anyone......... ?

Has anyone ever tried a Wetjet 701 pipe?? I have two of them and they look well made ( I think Westcoast made them?). I'm not sure how/if it would fit though. I think at the least it would have to have the stinger cut and rewelded to point in the right direction. I've heard rumurs they make more power than stock??

I originally had a FPP Type 4 dry pipe on my squarenose, and i liked it more than the B pipe I have now. I only changed because I kept blowing couplers and the alignment is horrible on them....and wet pipes are more reliable.

I do like the speedwerx dry pipe the most though. It rips from bottom to top.

I figured I'd bump this up.

I tried to do a cheaper version of the b-pipe. I started with a coffman manifold and ported it. I couldn't get the chamber in without denting it. I think the angle of the 3 manifold bolts are off a little and mis-aligned the chamber. If you're willing to clearance the chamber or ride a ski with more clearance this might work.

The other thing I did was take a head pipe with 3 bad screws and drilled out all 3 to a size WAY bigger. I had Tom21 weld one shut, I put a giant bolt in the second one, and put a water injector in the 3rd. I put a brass valve right in front of the water injector to adjust the water flow.

The chamber I already had.

GP 800 pipe/suoerjet

I wonted to try and see if it would work/fit its a GP800 with 1300R non PV cylenders 84mm bore 62T totaloss pickup and flywheel, carbs are 46SBN running pumpgass. I had a yamaha B-pipe i sold the manifold bought a new SXR wetpipe manifold, me and a friend made the adapters i then drilled the water passages in them installed a .5 waterline and re drilled the pump that line feeds the manifold and a .375(OEM) feeds the headpipe. it was a fun project/cool. im also using 62t bedplates hope you enjoy

anyone have any tips or tricks to get more power out of the Pro-Tec Mach 1 pipe. This one has no water screws. I was thinking of restricting the inlet water to try drying it out.

I still love the coffman sizzle ma dizzle and i think for the price its a great alternative to the B-pipe
I picked up a rather rare pipe last year for a rebuild named PSI similar to protec style but snow mobile manufacturer...
Also ran protec for 650 was medium impressed, & ran different style of B-pipes MOD/limited chambers

Has anyone ran a coffman sizzler that has been opened up to 47 mm on the head pipe and exhaust manifold? I had this done to mine but i never ended up trying it. I ended up buying a b pipe instead. But i still plan on maybe using this on a budget build for my wife. I think stock it was 42 mm Im guessing this is why some people say they dont work as well with the 61x case.

The Sizzler is a good pipe. Make sure to match the manifold to the cylinder and use an OEM Kawasaki 650 bushing. Power wise it goes 48mph at 6860rpm on a 61X/61X @701CC, cyl mildly ported.
