06 RM 250 baddest 250 ive ever ridden. handled like a dream. i dont feel like dropping 5 grand on another new bike, so im gettin a buddy of mines 05 yz 125. he bought it new in 05 and rode it for like 6 months. its been sitting up since. its been a looong time since ive had a little bike so im kinda excited. i never got to ride one of the aluminum framed 125s. ill bet its like throwing around a bicycle.

Yeah those aluminum framed YZ125's are flywheights. I just re-built the entire tranny in mine and got it back together just last week after about two months. In the meantime i bought a 06'crf450 so i thought it would be no problem to sell the 125 but i after i rode again i forgot how light, fun, and fast the thing was. I had it ported and it has a pipe on it and the mid to top on it is un-believable for a 125. I def wanna keep it to scoot around on when i wanna take afun ride.

hellz yeah. and a top end in that thing is like 100 bucks and about 45 minutes worth of work. sure beats all those valves and cams and timing chains huh?

. ALL RIDER.

:Banane01: :cheer:

it's all rider baby.
comparing mx bikes to sit downs is just simply wrong man. the level of mental focus and skill required to pilot a mx bike around triples and whoop sections or even technical trails at a harescramble cannot be compared to that of a sit down racer navigating through buoys. the worst thing the sit down racer maybe prone to is hemmaroids:biggrin:

Damn bro, you crush that $hit. Much respect.

Doug

thanks man i appreciate it

chart102 in harescrambles i race open A, in MX this year i am staying B until May because i am gonna try to go to lorettas again (got hurt last year at the regional qualifier running 3rd :bad3: ) but after the qualifier i will be going A. and i also run collegeboy.. what do you run?

before i sold my 250 i ran A. if i were to try to qualify for Lorettas (im way to out of shape and cant afford it) i would probably run B. but since Im getting this 125 to play around on, i dont care what i class i race. im just gonna try and demolish as many four strokes as possible (no offense) i actually had a 99 yz 400 and loved it, until it blew. i just dont have any reputible mechanics around here and i dont feel like even attempting to tear one of those things apart. i guess im old school even though im only 21. four strokes are nice to ride though, i cant make myself get armpump on them. even with 1 1/2 foot breaking bumps. they are just so smooth they kind of bore me. oh well at this point in my life im not out to win any championships so i dont care if im on the best bike. i just know that it feels good to be the only 2 stroke out there and waxing most everybody else.

ill post pics of me ridiing in a few days. i need to get them off my buddys computer. i will also get more when i get my 125.

oh yeah, bummer about crashing in the qualifier. get em this year. if u make it, i just might have to come and watch.

hopefully with some luck i will make it, i have been putting time into school so i havent been able to ride, i am starting to take some time off racing for school and other things so i wont be into it as hardcore this year. i like you just have lately been riding for fun, but of course i still try to do the best i can every weekend. hey dont feel bad about the two strokes i was PA state champ in harescrambles on my 125....then i rode some 250f's and it was gone...

I found a picture of my bike on a club website.... It's the one in the top left leaned against a tree, I was helping amatures over the logs while I was waiting for my partner to finish the first lap.
