Other Lifted trucks and skis in the bed

Anyone with lifted trucks put their ski in the bed? Im trying to come up with ideas of how to get mine in an out with like a pvc ramp. but pushing or pulling it up is still going to be a bitch. anyone else in the same boat.

Not lifted but the concept works the same.
Don't use fixed casters, they suck. PVC has so little friction to begin with. I sleeved pressure treated 2x4's with 2" pvc. I ripped the 2x4 on a table saw to fit in the PVC.

I have seen hoists with hand cranks that swivel. Some people put them on docks to lift skis, I dont know the precticality of that, but an idea.

yeah i thats what i have been doing but there is a river right near my office so if i have a chance after work i want to hit it

I push mine up my motorcycle ramp if im going somewhere and only have 1 ski and dont want to drag the trailer. MAKE SURE you have the ramp ratcheted somehow to the hitch so it wont move or slide away on you. Its ugly when it happens.

you could still go with the pvc ramp, and buy a boat trailer winch, they are cheap and work good

I use a hitch hauler And it is so much better than a truck bed.
