Lightweight batteries

I'm looking to buy a new lightweight battery. So far I've been told people like their WPS batteries. Weight is around 4 pounds and holds up to flips and rolls. I was suggested the model HJTX14AH-FP-IL.

Any recommendations for different batteries or confirmations on this battery?

Thanks

This is all just more of a thought too. Trying to see if I can shave some weight off. Eventually want to try a flip but have a heavy ski and need to make sure I have the nuts to try it!

I just have the stock charging system. Would I need to be constantly using a trickle charger when its not in use? typically in the summer I don't ever charge my batteries because I ride every weekend.

I have good luck with Shorai, kinda spendy tho.

Be carefull, the Shorai batteries are NOT SEALED AT ALL, they have multiple areas where water can get inside. Might not be an issue as much in fresh water, but here in the salt they didnt last more than 3 months. Spoke with an engineer and he flat out said no, we do not seal them.

I am now running a WPS and have had ZERO issues, no special charger needed

I just switched to the deka 9. 760 with 180 psi fresh engine and cranks just fine. I liked the battery so much I made some small battery boxes for them.
Pic is of proto 1. I made it a 1/4 wider to put hydro turf on all sides.

seriously though guys, do you have problems running the smaller AGM batteries? What would be the smallest one you could use without having problems?
Yeah like whitca said, I've been running the Deka 9 for several years with dual bilge pumps, charging system and the battery ends up sitting at 12.9 volts after riding each time. Great battery !

I have a smaller AGM battery went frm 16 lbs for the regular superjet size battery to 9 lbs for the smaller AGM battery. works great. no problems at all even with two bilge pumps and MSD TL. I think it only has like 175 cca which is plenty
