Wedge is legit!

You'll love the RRP. I had a Dale's Jet Sports pole on my SXR and I bought a used RRP OVP setup and it completely changed my riding, so much easier!

Can you have a pipe ?
Yes and no.

Pro Watercross events: Wet pipe and 701/61X top end or stock pipe and 760/64X top end (bored 61X or 760 cylinder swap, doesn't matter)
IJSBA events: Stock pipe and 760/64X top end
International: Stock pipe and 760/64X top end
The quicker/faster setup is typically a piped 701 (R&D wet pipe is king) but then you're screwed for World Finals since they don't allow pipes. Many have raced the national tour on a piped 701 and swapped to a 760 setup just for WF.

I'm trying to stick to ijsba rules even though I like pro water crosses rule book better. Our local series follows ijsba. The wedge is awesome! No more tippy toe turns, now you can really push with the whole foot back there.

The Pro Watercross tour is so much better for Superjets. Makes it more fair HP wise to the SXR. IJSBA is still old school, but their events are more accessible. Sadly smaller usually too though. I really want to go when the tour comes to Dallas.

I realized I was still building my ski handling wise under the limited rules, looks like me and a few others will be running stock engine'd SXRs and SJs in the limited class in TX this year. Oh well, I still run in a limited class at WF.

Pull those rear sponsons off and run the lites class at wf.

You can use both front and rear sponsons in lites class. It's an appendix of the rulebook. Nearly every ski on the line has both

I use a set of modified pro watercraft rear sponsons on the sxr and I really like them. Hopefully equal results will be achieved on the superjet
