Long reach engine coupler

Working on putting a 62T in a previously Polaris powered EME with Kawaski pump. With the SXR driveshaft, I have about 1.5" coupler gap that I need to take up. I am considering moving the engine back but then have to glass in some new mount pads and move my battery box.
Does anyone have another solution to this problem? I feel like I remember RRP having a long engine coupler but can't find any info on it. I am not sure I can safely space either coupler out .75". Is there a Kawaski driveshaft coupler that is longer than the SXR coupler?

There are some really long Yamaha couplers from couches aren't there? Maybe you can switch to yamaha style and use one of those?

Possibly a dumb suggestion because odds of thread size matching are not great. On the other hand there are lathes out there in the world.

Also there are a bunch of drive shaft lengths for Kawis, I think x2 is longest, not sure where sxr fits in there, probably on the long side.

I was just looking into the X2 driveshaft, while it would solve my issue in overall length, the bearing surface for the bulkhead is in the wrong spot.

I have several kawasaki driveshafts at home, can you measure the length you need?

Worst case, you could use longer bolts and space out the thru hull.

I had an sxr driveshaft in an 1100 conversion that was about an inch short, I had Sasquachcrap on here lengthen it. Worked perfectly. He cut and welded in a piece on the front side of the bulkhead bearing

This may be my next step, if I can just find a pair of longer couplers to bolt on, that may be easier.

I have one of the longer couplers rickter makes, or maybe it was ada? It got a little chewed up when I broke the mounts to the engine. It is also anodized blue. But it still worked fine. PM if interested. I could get pics later. I'd let it go cheap or trade it for another stock coupler

Edit: powdercoated blue*

I have a set of the extended RRP couplers. Let me know if you want them
It looks like the engine side coupler is standard length and the midshaft side coupler is the extended portion, which won't work for me because I am using a Kawasaki driveshaft rather than Yamaha midshaft.

That is right. The longer one goes on to the mid-shaft side.

Another kinda long shot but possibly there is enough meat in a yamaha midshaft that you could have sasquachcrap cut off one and thread the inside for the sxr shaft, make a little stubby extension, run yamaha couplers. Might be cheaper than extending shaft. Use a couch midshaft that somebody is throwing away.
