Well, i was working on my RN today and found that on the exhaust side (right) that the tray or right side pad? and outside of the tray (where the decals are) Are kind of bowed in, im new to this whole scene and you guys know lots about this kind of stuff? Any suggestions? I pressed firmly and it didn't move or flex at all. Is this normal from the exhaust heat? I'll try and get some pics up tommarow in the daylight.

Mine was like that, factory defect. I pushed it out with blocks when the footholds were out and heated up the glass with a heat gun, later when the blocks came out I had the proper shape. Refoamed to hold the shape and it looks better than new.

If i just leave it alone will I be ok?

I was going to do some footholds...

Its not like one day it will cave in or something right?
LoL when i got it home, i thought i had put the ratchet strap on too tight. I was like damn, i can't believe I got the ratchet strap so tight that it bent the hull lol.

Sorry for all the dumb question's... my other stand up is a kawi and its all stock.

Glad to be part of the sj fam though!!!

What year is your ski. I think all of the early skis have that. My 96 is that way but my 01 and the 06 in the garage are perfectly flat. It won't give you any problems. Just looks odd

yeah, i gotta 1996. Its not very noticable until you get real close and then if you compare it to the left side. Does anyone know exactly why the hulls do that, or is it just a yamaha problem from the factory that someone said above?
