Other Loud exhaust, not making any friends aroumd the lake

Funny I had a similar story last week. I live waterfront on a river and heard a VERY loud 750sx while I was grillin on my deck around 7:30pm. I did not want my neighbors confusing him for me....so I walked over to the ramp and told the guy, very politely, that he was gonna get jetskis banned from the township ramp if he didnt put a waterbox on. Turns out he bought it that way and thought it was supposed to be that loud. He was cool and we bs'd about skis for a while. As I was offering him a spare kawi waterbox I had laying around, the cops showed up because someone else called them to complain. They wrote him a warning for a noise violation. Saw him again yesterday and he installed the waterbox I gave him...lol. Good outcome, and I gained a new riding bud. Little respect on the jetskiers part goes a long way to keeping spots open.
