WOW wish my "limited" budget was like yours. BTW you didn't get it unless you have pics to prove it.okey:
Here are some more. Pictures are always better when reading something. I wish I had some better pictures but more to come when I build this.

With no previous porting or milling experience, is this something I should try? I keep hearing I should use a girdle head to prevent any cracking on the water jacket, is this a big risk to stick with a stock head? Thanks for the great advice. It is very apprciated. With your set up I would assume an "I" prop would be better than a "J". If you are on a limmitted budjet then a prop is not where I would put $$$300 at first. The "J" prop can easily be pitched down to an "I" by Impros or by Youngs Performance (RD 615 449- 2373) for like $30.00. Also, with 185 or less compression, and a "B"pipe (not a pipe like type 4 that mounts to cylender) and with light to no porting, you do not have to spend $300 + on a girdle head. You can simply have yours milled or buy a cheap milled stock head and achieve same results for $60 to $75.00 + shpg. ea. way. Porting usually turns into a hone and sometimes a bore & new pistons and would run you at least $500.00 by time its all said and done. Or you can buy a dremmel and just match ports up w/o removing sleave material yourself. PM MATTE, I believe he has a sport port pattern. A lightened Stock flywheel and modded CDI are both decently priced mods that will help bottom end. Lightening stock flywheel is like $100 including shipping ea. way. PM KEEFER for price on modded CDI (I think its like $60.00 or $75.00 w/ trade in). This would be where I'd start on a budjet.
Very nice. Did it come with turf or do you work that fast?

Nice:biggthumpup: I saw this ski while I was at Steves shop a few weeks ago. I really liked the yellow. Good choice:arms: :Banane01:
Is it just me or is there no foam in the ski?? In this picture #2it looks like you can see right inside the rear of the ski... Shouldn't there be a scupper tube in there??
Your right, no foam or valves in these pics, it is dual scupper valves and a dual exhaust, the rear is located on the side. The last thing done from Steve at WCF was to install the scuppers. The hull is beautiful..
I also look at it like this a killer prop, bored nozzle, MSD enhanser, Doesn't need hours and hours of carb work like a port job does. If you don't get talked into a new crank because your is 4 years old and while your at it might as well punch it out a few mm's then you end up with a 3K dollar motor job and are running an old prop. Yea your porter might nail the tuning right with a port job the first time but you can always dial it in to make it perfect and if you do somethign wrong then BOOM your budget just went to hell FAST.
I might be the only one but I hate to go to the lake and my ski run like crap... All your buddys are riding and you putt around then take it home to tear the carbs off again and lower the pop off and increase your pilot jet once more...That SUCKS doing it week after week.
Maybe a rant but so so true, been there it sux
