To all that are planning to attend. Around Thanksgiving last year we lost a member of our Jetski community. His name was Eugene Emerson from Anchorage AK but had been here in San Antonio from the time I moved here. If it weren't for him and 2 others I would have never got into the sport as much as I have. We would like to do a small ceremony on Saturday for him to remember him and spread his ashes in the ocean because it was his life to be out here. If you were at the event last time it was here you would probably remember him on the red blaster and as the guy the looked like a body builder. His mother has plans on coming down from AK for it since we all knew a different part of Eugene's life that she was never active in. It would mean alot to us in San Antonio and to those who knew Eugene if everyone attending could give us a few minutes to say a few words in his memory and to spread his ashes. He was a great friend to us and it's the least we can do in his memory.

Oh man, so shocked and saddened to hear about Eugene. I didn't know him well, but well enough to know he was a great guy.
