Not too thrilled about this carb adapter clearance situation. Proks I have won't fit.

This is the stuff that is just absolutely killing me with this build...

Pfp waterbox has this odd angle at the top, causing the box and stinger to be off ~1".

Yeah it looks modified. Some of the welds were clearly done by an amateur. That's what I get for buying used.

This is where my skill set starts to get a bit thin. I can get by using my cut offs, drill press, and grinders to fab makeshift adapters, but this is beyond me. I don't have a tig machine, nor would I know how to use it (I arc welded in high school, but I doubt that has any carryover). I suppose I can cut/grind out the welds, heat the aluminum where the bends are, then straighten them back. What do I do with the side plates... Those can't be bent. Even then, I still need to weld the pieces back together.

That's a hack job of a weld.

All I had left to do was connect the water box, drop the fuel tank in, and run the fuel lines.

these carbs had the stock restrictors drilled out on the return lines. Had to tap them and add #60 jets to keep the pressure up in the carbs.

If only the solution was that easy. I can get the box to line up on the input side, but then the outlet is pointing at the carbs and my tank won't fit. I'm going to just purchase a new waterbox, just have to find where to buy them. Not sure if they sell the box by itself... ?

I'll toss this box on the FS section. Any idea on the value? I'm sure it will work in hulls that are a couple inches wider on the bottom deck.

Xscream I believe they took over the pipes, from pfp

That looks like the xmetal water box, the standard PFP box looks like it would fit your application better. The standard PFP box is just straight, like this:

So this is a special waterbox? I've never seen one like it before. Always the straight boxes. Any idea on the value? I'm about to have it cut and welded straight
