What's the plans for it now pal? How are your other projects coming along?

Needs more rocker in the bond rail/nose and some tubbies. It likes to pearl straight to the bottom once the nose gets under a little. I might play around with the bond rail a bit as well. Also going to make a longer ride plate. This will end up being my surf boat.

Other projects are going well. Hopefully have the reduction/steering/trim setup out to market in the next couple of months. We're just trying to figure out the machining on the reduction nozzles to fit the rings and stator, etc. Also working on an adjustable pole and in the somewhat distant future will be a much revised flatwater hull.

Started last night andnjust read all 55 pages. Absolutely beautiful work. The best superjet i have seen yet. Your attention to detail is crazy. Makesme want another ski so bad but its just not in the cards right now. Your parts look amazing keep up the good work!

Thanks for the compliments! And kudos for making it through all 55 pages lol. Good thing there are pictures, it's a long read.

Every time I check in on this thread, I daydream that you bought the house next to mine (that's been for sale for ever) and you're always wearing a "will work for beer" shirt.

1) is it on a lake?
2) Yes. I feel I do my best work after a few.

So let's see, where did I leave off...

Ahh right, sad face because I'm about to sawzall through the product of a few thousand hours of work.

Wow, that is extraordinarily impressive!! I think soon you're gonna have the hull of your dreams with that kinda ambition in modifications!

What is the purpose of the foam on the outside?

Widening the front. Foam will get covered with epoxy and glass, then an epoxy based body filler. After that, rails will get a little work, and then the whole bottom deck will get a layer of 24oz quadraxial cloth.
