Just how much wood can u store the the beach house?? I mean if I was to bring a large load cut nice and neat for storage??

The issue at this point is I have not built my custom trailer and can't pull a rental and put my ski in the back of my truck.. the tongues on the rental trailers are made to cause accidents with a tail gate open!!

ANyone know of a cattle/stock high wall trailer around San Antonio I can use for a weekend.. I can give my cummins diesel as holding

ps: is anyone coming down I35 from austin thursday night/early friday that has a spare space on thier trailer? I can have the ski at the old family house not even
5 - 7 miles out of the way?? But I think most may not be going I35 to San Antonio!!

Sandman, only bring the firewood if you have too. For you to spend that much on gas just to bring wood isnt necessary.

If I were you, I would just bring all your stuff and what wood you can bring also. A few of us are working on wood, we wont let you down with not having a large fire..
btw. all the new guys have to run/jump/lep over the fire in some form or fashon.. by foot or by motor. Rules you know.

well - first read what Mick said.

don't go out of your way to bring wood. It's a long way.

but if you do decide to bring a trailer of wood - we can park the trailer at my house, a neighbor's house, one of the rentals - or even just on the beach near one of the campers. There's plenty of space - don't worry about that part.

... im not scared of jumping any fires... wouldnt be the first or last time i did something that my mother would not aprove of...

i already like the style of making the new guys do fun stuff... always down for a good laugh

Just a link to last years hints and tips. I'll keep looking for more.

Hey, Shawn, any chance that you could put together a sticky that has just the directions, the do's and don'ts (without the junk), beach pass info, ferry suggestions, safety tips, etc without the junk? Of course, you'll have to immediately lock the thread so the hooligans don't hijack it. But, it would be easier to just link to that thread for each ride, than to regather/repost everything for the newbies for each ride.

NOOOooooooo, not this crew. They would never do anything like that. Just you watch, this thread will now get jacked into some discussion about blow-up dolls and lacy underwear. Oh, and blenders.
