Yeah, that time of year, usually full length, and often with jackets. Sometimes just over a rashguard. There can be jellyfish, so I rarely ride without something between me and them. After scoping it out and not seeing any jellyfish, if it's warm I sometimes end up in board shorts and rash guard. I'm an old lady and don't like to get sunburns, so usually have something on a good deal of the time.

You have skin? I've never seen you ride without a wetsuit...lol

Seriously all of those are very good reasons to wear one.

Yep, and I'm the sunscreen Queen. Lots of people tell me I look 10 years younger than I am, so :nana:

I do prefer to ride in a wetsuit. Much more protection. But I have ridden in board shorts in the summer heat.

Cool thanks man!

Being that i've never been to one of ya'll rides do you have any need to know info? I see i'm supposed to have tow loops.. I prob should have wetsuits too right being that it'll be march? We all just meet someplace to party and ride then go seperate ways till the next day? Most people going down friday or saturday? Anyways just some things I was wondering that would help in my planning, thanks for the info:reporter:

we show up and ride, and party, get drunk and have bon fires. Oh yea drink some more.
Tow loops are not manditory, but its a good idea to have one.
So if your new you gotta ride the blaster.. :bananajump::bananajump:

Many arrive Fri, some Sat, some Sun. Lots camp on the beach or rent houses nearby, some have friends who have beach houses, some stay at motels. Very relaxed group. We usually feed ourselves for most meals, but do a semi-organized get-together Sat pm and sometimes Sat lunch.

We (mostly) respect each other, try not tick off the local home-owners too much. No glass on the beach. PICK UP YOUR OWN TRASH! Have fun, try real hard not to run over anybody on the water or the beach. Mostly a very friendly, easy-going, help anybody that needs it kind of group.

The only real hard and fast rule is "Don't do anything that makes me stop riding to take you to the hospital."

We are suppose to respect each other?? THATS NEW, the golden rule when the sun goes down, just find a silver dodge pickup and piss on its tires, just make sure its Penguins or Timbos truck. :cheer:

Why, no one broke me in gently.

:wall:

WHO'S GOT WORMS.......

exactly where on the beach is the site?? how many miles from the ferry?? wheres the closest place for fuel and to eat ??

the ride area is about 9 miles after you get off the ferry. Pretty much turn towards the beach at 9 miles - if you can't find us from there: you're blind.

closest gas is 1.5 miles or so away - so roughly 10.5 miles from the ferry.

closest food is the Outrigger Grill. up at the highway from the ride area, look to the left - there it is.

It WAS going to be a nice birthday present for my hubby, but NOOOOO, the newbie gets it.

Probably doesn't even know what he's got

Naw, we won't hold it against you at all.

Not getting any of MY cobbler, grumble, grumble, grumble.

We would never resent the fresh meat for a simple thing like stealing a mint FX1 right out from under us, nooooooo.

Dam newbies, anyway. He'll probably litter, and start somebody's tent on fire, and gash his shin open and then I'll feel obligated to sew his azz up, too!

J/K  See you there!

Um about the BEST example of a MINT stock 95 FX-1 you'll ever find.. It had 97 registration stickers on it when I got it home, prob 10 hours or so on it.
$900.
Posted on here when I got it and alot of other locals were trying to get it too... got picts lol
