Kevin may bring his chan. Gregg's chan will never see saltwater. I haven't heard from Paul so I doubt I will have a motor for my freak by then.

I'm 50/50 depends on work and surf report. Dog go ahead and make the front foot hold penetrate thru the hull fire wall since you cut 4. It's worth the effort. Three out of three sportfishissss agree.

Not just no, but hell no. This is already WAY more than I bargained for a ski I don't even plan to ride. It has a regular front foot hold. Screw you for talking me into cutting it to begin with.

26 hours. Glass done for shortening hull. I used dye to color epoxy and cabosil. I used clear packing tape to hold it all together. A little wax paper on the tape on the area that was a big hole. Two layers of 12oz weave and two layers of 17oz biax on the area that was a hole. One layer of biax for most of the rest. Drain plugs glassed in too.20140417_184301.jpg20140417_184310.jpg 20140417_184331.jpg 20140417_184349.jpg 20140417_184407.jpg

I dyed it because of how it would look on the outside. I was trying to match the paint. Otherwise I would not have bothered. No other benefit.

Just sayin..... I have a plug foe it. Cut a hole , lay it in , glass the edges . Easy as 123 , puddin -n-pie , catching fish in a barrel , easy as taking candy from Sanoman ... Ummm ok that's all I have.

Sorry your motor is taking so long. My full time work schedule is killing me. Good news is, both Cyls will leave to be Nic coated tomorrow, so there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Hope you all have a Happy Easter!

30 hours. Cut exhaust tube and new hole for it in the bulkhead. Installed drain in bulkhead. Turned the ski over and filled some bare fiberglass gouges all along the bottom with color matched epoxy and cabosil. Used micro balloons on rear of ski because it sands easier and I will be having to paint that area now. I Was trying to avoid paint but the exhaust flange had to turn to sit flush and it looked like crap.
