I'm moved by DASA power!
No reason to feel whiny, I hope no one else has to go through what I did, My arm used to look way worse these pics are after multiple plastic surgeries where they put saline balloons under the skin to stretch it and wrap the (normal) looking skin around the skin graft. Originally almost my whole arm was skin graft. Again I am lucky to have what I have, many of our soldiers have far worse wounds than mine. they make me look like a whiny bitch :)

Surgery tomorrow. The surgeon found my break "challenging".
He'll numb up the whole arm, then cut open the finger to properly set the bone. It's a jagged break pattern, so he wants to make sure he gets the foundation right.
After that, it'll be either cross-pins (that stick out externally, COOL!) or an internal plate.
We'll see.

External pins are cool! And they pull them out with vice grips when you are healed up. I shattered my elbow, broke both bones in my wrist and brim my leg when I was 13 riding a dirtbike. I had 21 staples, 2 screws and 4 pins. The staples hurt coming out but the pins don't burn at all. The doctor grabbed a pair of vice grips to pull the pins out of my bones through my skin and I thought he was kidding around and just trying to make me piss my pants! He grabbed onto the pin and started pulling... The first pin broke off the first 1/4" before it even budged. Then he clamped onto it again and pulled real hard... Suddenly the pin just released from my bone and pulled out. I looked at the hole in my afm and blood slowly trickled out like a dripping faucet. There was no pain at all but it was just a weird situation at that age

FYI: my freak is a ridiculous beast with my stock stroke stock cylinder big bore motor. More than once my hand came off the bars, plenty of times I jumped way further/higher/more crooked than anticipated.
I don't know how you hang on with a liter motor.

Apparently you break your finger. :arms:
