when you first took it out did it seem really short?

Yeah, and crazy light.

My phone batteries died and are recharging. Lots more pics to come. It even came with a cool BOB t-shirt too.

I'm not getting started on it until tomorrow. It came with a list of bolt sizes. Are these the same as stock superjet?

engine mount m8 x 20 x 1.25

pump m10 x 25 x 1.25

Found some more batteries!

I am very impressed with this hull.

I'm not going to claim that it is flawless (There are some imperfect spots here or there), but it seems to be a quality hull for not a lot of money. Theskiclinic has surpassed my expectations in customer service and product quality. I am thrilled with my purchase so far. If I had to pick something for improvement, it would be the turf job. It is a solid nice job but I think I could have done better. This is coming from a guy who will take a weekend to do it and obsess over every fine detail. So there, I can find one thing to bitch about, but I'm not really bitching because it costs so little to have it turfed and it is a fine job.

To answer some more questions: I don't think the water lines are copper since it has brass fittings on both ends. I think I ordered it in early march.

More pics.

Not thrilled with the scratches on the bottom or the lack of buffing on the bottom either, but I will scratch it after a couple of rides anyway and Derrick hooked me up on the buffing anyway, so once again I am still thrilled. I only mention these things to be objective as possible about my purchase so everyone will know what to expect. I try to be as honest as possible in all my dealings so there it is, a couple of nit picky things I can find to mention and that's it! I still cant say enough about how happy I am with my purchase and how pleasant and professional Derrick was to deal with.

The stunt pales so bad in comparison that it shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence.

MAYBE, just MAYBE, the super high dollar hulls are a little nicer but they are twice the money so you have to decide what is important.

So far, to me, McBOB rules! Hands down.

The turf is not that bad, its painful to see scratches on the bottom already, i know its a matter of time till its beached lol.

I'm not positive on the lengths but those bolt threads are the same as the stock SJ. I guess I need to pick up the pace on your flywheel cover and kenny keepers...

Yeah I was pretty dissapointed with the turf job too...I get that its a "budget hull" and the little imperfections are going to be there and not that big a deal but I paid $200 so my turf would be perfect...it wasn't. I would recommend saving money and doing it yourself.

And does your graphics have a bunch of air bubbles everywhere? I was told a few days in the sun would get rid of them but if not I might just lose em and go all black.

I can't wait to get the rest of my parts in the mail so I can get to work on this thing though! I want to ride!!!

Yeah, the graphics will need a little work for air bubbles and not sticking good on the corners/edges of the hull.....but they are high quality vinyl and were custom made and installed for free! I can pop a few bubbles and rework some of the complex angle areas without much trouble. I will be removing the big BOB on the sides because it has some major issues where it wraps around the hood lip area and I think it will look better without it, but mostly because I think it looks better without it.

After work today I have to find a machine shop to bore my pump nozzle, run to Lowe's for some fittings and bolts, and go to the airport for some AV gas. I hope I get off early enough to have some time to work on the ski.

I still need to drill and install the hood bracket, wire and mount and install the total loss, drill and tap the fittings on my gas tank, put my motor back together since it is sitting as a case and cylinder and exhaust manifold and that's it, trim my DAG cf rideplate to fit, etc. LOTS to do.

That would take me years to accomplish . If by chance you get all that done by next week . I'll be down and be willing to drop my pump for the test ride .
