Super Jet Mdavies' SN - Winter Project

D-Roc

I forgot!
lol, most people get rid of them because they may or could be a problem for fuel delivery. getting rid of it cleans up the bilge and is one less thing to have to deal with while problem solving. lots of people run them. i just don't need it so i don't run one.

I'd be lost without the x
i'd think yamaha put it on for a reason.. when you come down hard sideways it will help give more support to the carbs. probably helps tamper vibrations too.. i'd replace it.

by the way, i kept my fuel selector too.. im usually all of the river so it comes in handy a lot of the time when i'm out.. my warning light i guess

Haha yea my res has saved me once at my cottage. Would have been a long ass swim back to the dock if I didn't have it

Exactly. No one likes being stranded.

As for the Carb piece, looks like I'll try to find one/ find the end and get it backtogether.

Still waiting on money to get some 2 part foam, expoxy, and contact cement. College is a killer.

IMGP1490.jpg Finally got my hands on expoxy, expanding foam, extra cloth, and a funnel to help with foam.
IMGP1494.jpg I need help! Cany ANYONE identify this throttle? I trashed the adapter when removing it and need a replacement.

Well, Planning on getting the tray ready for turf tomorrow. Then turfing this weekend (Probably saturday hungover)

Few other things left to, get a new primer, swap out jets, reinstall pump.

Hoping 2 weeks tops still shes back 100%.

If you have any glass left over I would throw some more reinforcement on that hood liner. From what i remember it is fairly thin and if you are planning on utilizing those footholds you will have a good chance of pancaking on the side of the hood. Would hate to see it crack and ruin a day or weekend of
Riding. May as well do it now when you have the supies and time to do it.

That is a Shark fab throttle lever. Might be tricky to get the adaptor for that now though?!?

I was actually more thinking of the liner breaking apart out of it rather than the actual hood...I was the one who modded the hood a few years ago when I owned this boat.

Man this boat has been around. Thanks for the heads up, but I most likely will not be reinforcing it. Short on funds and I honestly don't really know the process.

Shark Fab throttle...... Great lol. Time to start searching.

Your UMI adapter might still work, my UMI throttle was a pain in the ass to get the adapter in turns out the adapter gets screwed in at a slight angle, Try that... If it makes any sense
