@Todd Grochowski. The first post in this thread is very helpful:
With all the new hulls and custom setups there has been lots of talk lately about Midshaft lengths and fitment guides. I haven't had to do it myself but I have helped a few guys find the right length to suit a particular setup so I figured I'd set up a Master thread where we can list the lengths of different midshafts available and what years of craft they can be found in so tracking the right one down will be much easier.

Feel free to contribute any info or details you can and I will keep it in order and up to date in the first post so others won't have to scroll down for info.

I am not sure what all details are relevent but we can update as we go.

Good question. I can't remember off the top of my head how they achieved the setback on the 08's. I am pretty sure the shaft is 1" longer but I can't remember if the spacing of the bearings is closer as well due to the shortened stator...

If someone can post the length of the length of the 08+ Driveshaft then I will edit the list.

From '08-'15 Yamaha redesigned the pump setup by moving the pump back in the hull by 2". It is not a 'setback' pump like an aftermarket setback mag pump. The pump is otherwise identical to '90-'07 pumps except for the longer driveshaft and the trim nozzles. The pump stator and wear ring are the same and pump uses the same bearings.

You can see how the 08 rideplate sticks out from the hull by 2" as a result of pump, shoe, and rideplate all shifted rearward. It is the same length rideplate just moved.

Any idea about spline depth for a 98 gp1200. Looking for an oem 155 pump but not sure if the splines would match a sj drive shaft. My other option somebody has is a 96 wave venture and I'm pretty sure that will work.
Thanks!

Both of those pumps, shafts will work, but shafts need to modded to SJ length (+10mm is best for most hulls except a few like Circus, WDK rip)

About to purchase a full carbon havoc hull. Would the set up still need to be extended for that hull or would stock length work? Heard the stock midshaft length would work? Looking to use 96+ sj drive shaft and mid shaft

No the blaster driveshaft is longer.
Can anyone explain this?
This thread shows the 94-07 shaft as 26" and the blaster as 28 3/4". Yet people keep saying the 94+ superjet shaft and blaster are the same. It also shows a different part number for the blaster shaft vs what parts diagrams show online. Using parts diagram online, that part number for the blaster is shared with 650VXR's, which again this list says is a different part number and 4" longer then a blaster. Super confusing.

Maybe peeps confusing driveshaft with the midshaft? The SJ and B1 driveshafts are each a different length, and are lengths unique for each of these models, no SJ or B1 driveshaft crosses to other models.

Thanks Chris, the driveshafts are different but the midshafts are the same.

Midshafts are the same length, but are different and use different bearings.
