Custom/Hybrid Mile high backflops-Krash 50 cal build

Ive been dealing with the ski addiction hard for a couple of years, and back in July I put the order in for a Krash 50 cal. This is my first freestyle ski/build and after multiple talks with Chris and both Bright brothers, I am confident that I will enjoy the 50 cal. I love seeing all the other builds coming up finally, and glad that I am able to join the Krash Army this year. Well enough about that, on to the build progress.

I ordered the Stage 2 Flatwater bottom 50 cal
Decided I had to do custom colors, and it turned out great.

And a matching pole setup

Ive just been gathering parts to finish it as soon as the hull makes it to Denver. Im crossing my fingers to have it ready by World Finals.

I went from having just one ski to owning three with the krash, so i convinced myself to buy a new trailer too

Well, got some great news from Chris this morning to end a great weekend in Havasu. My ski should arrive stateside sometime this week. I guess now that its closer I can start digging through my boxes of parts that have been stock pilling and figure out what I still need.


Talked to Erik from TPE briefly at wf, but he was running all over the place that I figured it will be easier to just call him after he gets back to the east coast. Hopefully I have my engine/exhaust soon too!

Should call the color combo "The 80's"

ATP called my pole a Miami Vice pole. Im down with the 80s colors, and they definitely helped drive my choice.

I actually found some gloves I liked so much, and that matched, so I bought 6 pair.

That color scheme is legit, good to see another flatwater footrocket in the States! So many people went with the blue it's surprising. Beautiful color, but seems like eveyone has one now lol. Maybe with the next color scheme I'll go with blue and orange or red.

Thanks. I felt like if I was spending this much on the hull...I wanted it to be unique. Their blue is a great looking color tho!

I think you need that extra lung capacity for that thin air up there...!
