I just got done talking to Jeff about mikes ski..
i guess its a one off pro-? something something (small like a FX-1) pre preg that will accept a 800 engine.
Everything is one off / custom made with nothing to try it out on.. somethings on the list that i remember are.. a hull to accept a 144 pump, ride plate, scoop, hood, liner, pole, bracket, latches, manifold, pipe, realy THE WHOLE ski is one off and building a ski like this is time consuming to say the least !
I guess at one point (before mike ordered but finished after)he made a couple that were close to this style and had some failures and was going to give up on it.. he let mike know and tried to have him switch to a rev hull but mike wanted the custom hull.. So he had to rethink the ski and reinforce things and still try and keep it light..

Bottom line is......... he was sticking on the custom hood latch (has over 6 hours on this baby alone !) on the ski and is planing on crateing it up this week !

Sounds like a killer ski is on the way !!!!!!!!!!!

It sounds like excuses to me, It dont care if the hull had to be carved out of rare stone, and then rubbed with fairy oil, 2 years!! come on?
