Snowboard here... Favorite place has to be Cabrifae Peaks so far, Haven't been to a lot of others though.

I really like Nubs Nob and Boyne Highlands....both nice and right across the street from each other.

I've been out west too many times now. It has ruined Michigan skiing for me.

If you ski in Michigan go to mt Bohemia in the UP. Last I went chicks ski free. And you could by a seasons pass for a bill first week of December. Might be the only skiable mt left in Michigan this year.
But like chad said, once you get out west it is hard to appreciate anything else. Jackson Hole and W-B fo the record.

ski'd my whole life. Been to every ski area in Michigan and Colorado through the years. Raced in High school and collage (then the Tuesday beer league) and about a dozen race camps at Mount Hood, Redlodge and Banff. I've been heli skiing in BC for two separate weeks (not for a casual skier). Snow boarded in 85 when the boards first had metal edges (Burton Elite 150) and had a blast but it cut into my ski time so bagged it after two seasons.

^^^ X3 Just got back from Jackson Hole... i dont think i can justify spending the coin to get to the bottom of one of Michigans ski hills in under a minute. But, if i do Mount Holly, is the best hill close to me.
