I just curious, what kind of RPM are you turning on that engine?

Type of pipe, compression, octane fuel, jetting, ignition timing, dome cc's, squish clearance, etc?

That was 2 blow ups ago. What caused it was to much compressoin. it's being rebuilt again now.

lets see yours tricky. you can't build that many high hp motors without at least one catastrophic failure...
I have had a couple, but this one was the bad one. Rod snaped on OEM crank @ WOT. 85mm flat top lamey ~200 psi. The complete bottom end was trash. I Repaired the cylinder and it is running again today.

Ahh....just change the o-rings....it'll be fine:biggrin: j/k

See what happens when you use OEM piston return springs?

Eh, I knew someone was going to involve me in here. Let me look.
Okay, found it. This is disturbing...I had a folder setup for those types of pictures.

Hehe...that happened right after I ported & bored up my cylinders. In retrospect, I know exactly when that "oops" happened, but at the time, I Didn't know any better. I was trying to adjust the carbs to get that lean bog cured, but no amount of adjusting would change anything. ANd why was there a white miilky substance in the bilge? :aargh4:

Later that day....:17: :17: :17:

I was trying to adjust my carbs to fix my piston problem also. I finally checked the comression and got 5 in one and 80 in the other. :aargh4: :cussing:
