Sounds like you should go with the Rhaas or the CF. @Twinturbostang are you guys having a 4th of July sale?
Funny you say that because we just may be.Sounds like you should go with the Rhaas or the CF. @Twinturbostang are you guys having a 4th of July sale?
Med flat rate box is $60 to you with the mounts and what ever else you can pack in. We have shipped a bunch of sets down there to other unhappy 701 customers.View attachment 252419View attachment 252420View attachment 252421
Here's just 3 of 12 of the 701 industries mounts I have broken!
I didn't learn from my first time because Dave told me I was the first person this had happened to and I must of installed my engine incorrectly?!?? Wtf? So I accepted his replacement set fitted them and what do you know bang another set go after 20 minutes yes just 20 minutes of ride time and it was back to the garage to get rid of set number two and replace the also now damaged coupler and electric box.
My mate had also bought a set and since seeing how mine held up he said he would not run them and I decided I would give them one last chance!, big mistake as after three sets and no more than two hours ride time they also failed..... So much for fail safe and tested I thought so I decided that I was not ever going to fit 701 mounts again as simply they are junk!
We true to the sport blaster riders here in Australia would rather pay the extra international shipping expense to buy from Rhass or Cold Fusion as the proof is in the pudding.
Not even the so called 701 test pilots even run the dodgy pos.

Hey Mat, Im a surf rider who is hard on my gear. I own a superjet, FR2 evo and a Blaster1 all have CF mounts. Ive smashed the nose on my super jet lots and only ever had one mount partly tear off the base plate in that time. I replaced it at my own expense because I'm happy with the life. At the Austrailian Rip n Ride event last year i met Carl from CF and explained my experience with his product and thanked him. I do find the mounts in my blaster quite hard and feel a lot of engine vibration but its some thing i can live with. Hope this helps..I would like to hear real feedback on Yamaha based aftermarket motor mounts.....from riders that treat their ski very very badly in surf or the guys going HUGE on flatwater.
Another thing to consider when shopping for mounts is the possibility of ripping out your motor mount inserts all together. Especially in aftermarket hulls.?
lolbecause my form sucks and I don't care!
If your 'ripping your engine mount inserts out' you have got bigger problems than the type of engine mount your using bud, perhaps you should be looking more at the choice of hull manufacturer before even considering choice of mounts
