I saw Deadpool a couple of weeks ago.. Thought it was one of the best movies I've seen in a long time. It uses all the sick humor from my generation lol

Great recommendation! I did NOT see that coming at the end! Completely screwed up movie. Well worth the watch for anyone else on the fence about it.

I saw the new Point Break this week. It was OK, it was entertaining, It would have been better if they didn't use the same names and called it something else.

I saw it on opening weekend and I really liked it. I know the critics hated it, but that meant nothing to me. A lot of critics hate Snyder, so he could have made Shawshank and they would have said it sucked. I still enjoy the Marvel movies more overall because they do a better job of balancing adventure and fun, but that doesn't mean I can't like a more serious DC movie. And, the most surprising thing about the movie was Affleck's performance as Batman. I totally rocked it. I had very low expectations for him after the Nolan BM films, but now I kinda think he is the best BM yet, lol.

Finally got around to watching Ted 2 this weekend. Not nearly as good as the first but it still had some scenes that made the whole thing worth watching.

I laughed so hard at this scene that my wife came out to the garage to check on me, lol.

If the "Honest Trailer" for Deadpool is any indication of what the actual movie is like, I'm going to have to buy it rather than wait for friggen Netflix to get on it.

Finally watched "In the Heart of the Sea" this weekend and thought it was pretty good. Not good enough to ever watch again but decent enough. For some reason I thought they kept going until they got the thing?.?.?.?

We tried to watch "Hot Pursuit" and didn't make it past the 10 minute mark. Utter garbage. I can't stand Sofia Vergara for a second much less an entire movie. I only gave it a go because of Reese but her character was just as annoying.

Straight outta Compton was really good. I bought Ice Cube's debut CD the day it released but I was never into the rest of the guys, nor did I have any idea about all the drama.

Watched "The Big Short" on Sunday while I was working in the garage. I found it far more interesting than I had expected but mostly I was just in total awe of how corrupt the banking system is and how little is done about it. It's absolutely amazing how the whole thing went down and how we the American people have said and done nothing, nor learned from it in any way. What a bunch of sheep!!
