Yea that one caught me too...I expected it to kinda suck and planned on skipping through it....but didn't.

I watched all of Zombeaver in 7 minutes maybe...:)....

I saw Interstellar at the Cinabistro! Great theater, food, drinks, drinks and big soft chair. The movie is amazing. Hard to believe that Johnathan Nolan would study physics for four years working with real physicists to get the technical aspect right. I watched the science behind the movie on tv and WOW! Now all those other sci-fi movies better get it right. I do think the movie may be too smart for some people.

OK, I admit it, I am a HUGE Star Wars Fan. Even though 3/4s of the newer Lucas ones sucked, I still watch them. I am so excited about the upcoming trilogy because JJ Abrams is involved. Here is the teaser trailer that came out this morning:

The X-wing fighters flying right above the water looked KA.

Love starwars and super excited about it being in anyone elses hands but Lucas . I love most of JJ's work but he needs to calm down on the lens flare effect in his movies , super anoying.

Was JJ abrams the one that did that sci fi movie years ago about some big aliens coming to earth and it all being filmed like blaire witch project? That was one of the absolute worst films ever.

You're talking about Cloverfield. While I didn't care for it either, the movie did well at the box office ($170M earned vs $25M budget) and it was well received by critics. 6.5/10 on Metacritic and 76% on RottenTomatoes.
That said, it sucked.

Which is why I never listen to critics or weathermen.

I didn't think Cloverfield was that bad. I think the reason people don't like the movie is because the premiss was so good and people would have rather seen the movie in a normal way instead of POV.

I really like the Star Trek remakes. I know the purist didn't like the second one, but I thought it was awesome. I think the the unlimited budget JJ had for this one, it will be good.

I blame MTV with that crappy POV shooting. They started the shakey camera crap , then blair crapcraft then a big budget movie?!?! I remember sitting there thinking after five minutes ... is this it? We get to follow one group around this whole movie with a shakey camera? Get to only see far off shots of huge monsters? This a premiss thats "so good" ..? Stop it scottie. They should have paid us to see that regurgitated premiss shot by amature camera people. There are a gazzilion different ways to shoot that movie , 100% shakey camera from one single camera view has got to be the absolute worst. They wouldnt even do that on late night sci fi channel.

If I remember correctly the previews for that movie showed nothing so people got intruiged , but the joke was on us cause the really was nothing to see.

So lets list the top ten worst movies ,

The Theory of Everything was great. I went in with high expectations and it definitely delivered. It was interesting to learn more about Stephen's life than just his work.

I watched 22 Jump Street last night.

It had a few scenes that were funny, but the only real entertainment of it was them making fun of themselves.

If you're really bored and it's sitting in front of you, it will pass the time and you won't feel too dirty afterwords.
