So that's what it looks like the first time through there.... All I see is BLACK water...Ha Ha.

Idok, the bottom is mostly soft in the creeks.

It's fun when there's no waves. The only real hazard is mussles embedded in the sod banks and old pilings and stuff sticking out. You have to do an exploratory run at low speed to scope it out and then you can rail'em wide open once you know path is clear.

It was a really weak high tide yesterday and some of the stuff we were rippin' through was 1-2" deep......:shock:

Ive always wanted to rip throught hose areas but was too afraid of hittign something in them or worse getting stuck and having to walk in that water lol.

I hit an area just like that in Jersey about 7 years ago. I sucked up a bunch of mud and overheated!! The mud was like up past my knees. I lost a riding boot in it...

It was super fun though. They had a couple perfectly straight man-made channels that were about 2 feet wide (but about 1 foot deep). You could hit WOT on those...

I used to have trails like that behind my house from the airboats. Problem was when it rains and it was high enough to ride them, you had to watch for gators. In that shallow of water when they hear/see you coming, they are up on all 4's usually running the same path your trying to navigate going the same way. You stop, your in the weeds. You keep going and your on top of a gator in less then a foot of water. One rule....don't ever let go....:scared:

Well is Jersey you don't have to worry about gators. You just have to worry about running over dead bodies dumped there by the mafia. We ride around strapped. Might be a good idea for the gators too.
