Anyone have this happen to an MSD rev Enhancer ? Called them today and emailed pics. They weren't willing to cover.... Real cool MSD. Who else makes something for next time, I think I am done giving MSD my $.

Still works to my knowledge. Ski has been apart for a while now during the rebuild process.... Worried moisture is going to take it out though. Sealed it back up with some "goop" for now. Not alot of other options if MSD won't man up.

Sux that MSD won't help, but if it still works, run it. As long as your e-box is sealed, I don't really see it failing because of the crack.
Sealed or not sealed, we all know at some point that Ebox is going to get some moisture in it. I guess I keep flaming MSD, maybe send a link to this thread next.

Find something that really bonds to that material, otherwise it will prbly hose.
At MSD we have a one year warranty that we are fairly lenient on. In this case the product is at least five years old and way out of warranty. We discussed giving you a smoking deal on a new unit due to the unusual nature of the problem but decided against it due to the unpleasant nature of your e-mails and phone calls.
For the record we are still manufacturing this product here in El Paso, TX

Sometimes a little patience goes a long way, Coming out of the gate with a bad attitude can make people not want to go the extra mile to help. Like this case, that enhancer is old and they owe you nothing in my opinion. It seems if you would have been a little more polite and not so quick to be pissed you would have ended up with a brand new one for cheap.

I had an MSD enhancer that crapped out on me last summer (I think my ebox might of got alittle wet 
). I was the original owner - and had my original recipt. I sent it back and they sent me a new one right away.

I have an adhesive potting compound i use for my surf armor switches that will seal that baby back up just fine. It's not cheap stuff but if you send it to me, I can seal it back up the next time I run a batch of switches which should be in the next week or two.

Get some duct tape, the real sticky kind, holding the MSD by the wires and slowly start tapping yourself in the head while increasing the speed and intensity. When you feel like you've had enough stop, tear off a 5" piece and place it over your lips.........oop's, too late, that's what you should have done and MSD may have given you a smoking deal on a new ignition! 5 year old ignition and you're pissed, ha!
Look at you, getting all upset over a five year old product not getting covered by warranty and getting publicly pissed about it.
