Super Jet MSD TL No light or spark

We recently installed a MSD TL to try out in my ski. It's an older Pro Digital MSD PN 4242 Single coil. It has been great all year, ran it all last weekend. This weekend was a no go. Brought it home no light on MSD Brain...light could be burned out. Asked a friend for some help and checked for spark. No dice. I even disconnected the two green wires off of the pickup to see if I could get the plugs to spark without any luck. Any other tests to try or is it safe to say the brain is done. If so, does anyone have a MSD PN 4242 Brain by chance?

THanks!

I assume you checked all power/grounds. With no light blinkng or anything at all it soumds like a dead brain if it worked fine last weekemd. I had a fuse holder go between weekends once but a friend has had a brain go between weekends before. Strange. Do you leave your hood on during the week?

I did check all power and grounds. I will check again, can't hurt. Ski turns over no problem, fresh battery, just no spark.

I leave the hood half off, kept inside garage.

After reading more into MSD TL it seems the brains randomly go and there is no fix unfortunately.

Well once you are sure it dead, there is only one other thing you can try. Put it in the oven and bake it. Try to get the moisture out. It has worked for my friend but didnt for me when i got a broken box. Expensive paper weights.

Bob dont give up on it yet... if you have luck with baking the msd and getting it back to life let me know, I have mold for a TL Dry box that i made. Been so busy I havent had a chance to install it in the 08.

The light would still blink when this happens though...

How is the light gonna blink when the pick-up isn't sending a signal to the brain? Also those lights go out without notice and the brain can still work fine.
Those wires leading out of the pick-up can get pinched and turned too much coming out the pick-up and also going through the stator, etc can fail.
Im just saying, I would check a pick-up/leads before I baked a good brain.

I just remember baking Enhancers, havent heard some one doing a TL brain.

No it wouldn't.

Troy, the OP said in his first post that he tried disconnecting the triggers and getting spark "manually". In my opinion that leaves only the brain or the coil. And since the brain stopped blinking, it's getting pretty obvious.
