My 2014 Superjet "build"

clarified! thank you.

@Erik Villeneuve

I did another, although this carter B ride plate was harder to do with the hump it has in it.. I used a piece of paper to mark the distance from the one side to the other. Folded paper in half and got the middle. Then used a protractor to start the 6" circle but had to use my imagination for the one part.

Put the new trim system on. Bought it used with bored Thrust Nozzles. The reduction nozzle was bored to 90mm and the steering to 93mm.. Took it out today reduction nozzle was too much went back to the stock for now. Still have the thrust bored 93mm steering no problems.

I used a small drill bit then a self tapping screw to grab them, used a pair of angled(bent) needle nose pliers while the carbs were in a vise to leverage them out. Look back in my build I covered that

Thanks. I used a 6" hole saw to do mine worked great.

Back at it recently..

Was stocking up on parts for getting ported this winter but I couldn't wait to put the 44's on. M

DASA intake manifold, added a second pulse line, modified my fuel pickups so I can feed each carb individually. Also added "clunks".
I also put the black cover back over the fuel lines after I added a second bit of fuel line.

Jets should be here tomorrow in time to put together for Carolina Freeride!

Well motor is out, off to Erik @ TPE to get ported. Have a set of 46's to put on instead of the 44's. Had a broken motor mount and my Pistons were already out of spec.

While Erik has the motor, I'm re doing the engine bay, all the blue paint has peeled off or looks like crap. So it's getting stripped off, and getting done again, this time using Topkote. Not rustolium crap. Haha.

Also installing the scupper tube and the Versi plug max.

I have been reading up on install threads for scupper tubes.. The one where the guy just drills with a pvc pipe, I went that rout. Except I didn't want to start at the rear of the ski, for fear of ending up too high off the bottom of the ski inside. So, I started inside, drilled out as close to the bottom as possible. Started working at the foam, when I realized the whole saw bit fits snugly over the pvc.. Can you saw big long whole saw bit! Haha.

But what gives? The foam on my ski too new to just break apart and pull out with the pvc periodically like the other thread?? Unless I go all the way through the foam will be attached to the other end and be hard to get out.
