Made a foothold a little while back. Nice and wide and can kick in at any angle.

Started making a front foothold using a Hydroturf kick tail and some 18mm pad.

Went through a few gallons of oil so far without a hiccup! Absolutely loving this ski!!

I'm running a rear tank and didn't want to have to drill into my firewall again to mount a glass molded ffh.

I bought the large Hydroturf kicktail and put a piece of 18mm in front and behind the kicktail as you can see. Im gonna glue on one more piece of 18mm to the rear to make it nice and deep. Once I have the depth set I'll grind the underpad at the top by the hood latch so it meets it with a nice 45* angle then turf over it with smooth black turf.

I'll finish it up this week and send you some pics @codyadams209

How did you make that rear hold James, looks really good like what Gomez uses. Be interested in doing one like it? I just tried a footstrap in place of my right hold but my foot slips out when i surf ride.

My feet are all over the place when I surfride, never stuffed in the holds.

I cut the turf off the original hold and trimmed it to shape. Then added underpad and shaped it up. I should have wrapped the final layer of turf around to the top and not stopped at the back edge like I did. It takes a while to turf a foothold but this thing is super plush and works great
