Here it goes, I first built the ski two years ago and its been awsome but I need more.

My plans are to get the hood painted and am thinking of a Exotic Signs graphic kit for the outside. Inside, I'm going to move the battery to infront of the motor and thats it for now.

The motor is where most of my time will be spent. It's a mildly ported 701, B-pipe etc. I'm going to big bore and epoxy port the cases all myself, it will be the first time doing this kind of work, porting etc. I'm using Northwest Sleeves and roundtop pistons, I have a set of 44's and I need a intake. I have done alot of research but any ideas and comments welcome. I am doing this on a budget, so it won't be a speedy build. Here is some before pics.

Na, there are two design from Exotic I really like, #1 and 6, colors are gonna be either black and red, or black and light blue, not sure yet.

Well its looking like Flat Tops are the piston of choice, after talking to Tim Judge. Got the epoxy for the cases, Gray Marine Tex, just need to prep and start fillin them up. After I install the sleeves the cylinders will probably go to TJ. Pics comming.

Well the epoxy is almost done, I had one air bubble I will have to fix. The front needs epoxy and the intake runners also. What a nerve racking, time taking job to do it right.

Clean lookin job there Bill, I'll have to stop by next time I'm back home and check it out - What other plans do you have for this motor?

85.5mm Flat Top pistons, I am going to port the cases and gonna drop the sleeves, bore the casting and install the new sleeves above. Then send the cylinders to Tim to be ported. Dual 44's, delta v-force reeds, ada head, same pipe, and try to lighten my flywheel. Also gonna move the battery to infront of the motor. Hoping there is a good amount of power difference after all this work.

I do have an ADA head if you want it, girdled of course. It is the purple one though, but that can be taken care of, LMK and I'll bring it by the shop.

Thanks alot, but I am gonna buy a new one, at cost its fairly cheap. still need to stop by and check it out.

This is a great thread! I always wondered where/how cases were epoxied. Keep the pics coming. I guess filling the empty spaces with epoxy makes the case stronger?

They are stronger because I bored the cases out for the bigger sleeves, helps the base gasket area. Also the cases will get ground thru the aluminum into the epoxy in the intake runner area.

damn ,I hope mine turns out this nice.

Well come to find out the porting in my cylinders wont work with the new sleeves. So I got a virgin cylinder, dropped the sleeves, glass beaded them, and back to where I was. Now the cylinder will be bored out tomarrow and I'm gonna install the sleeves Sunday. After that they will go to south florida for the fine tunning. I'm glad this is finally goin. The cases are bored out and ready for some more epoxy.
