Are you having the shop that bores the cylinder also do the counter sink for the sleeve lip?

Yes, I work for CS Performance and we do all cylinder boring in house. We are using the same boring bar for the cylinder cast and the counter bore. I bought a different bit to counter sink it. The cases were bored out at my fathers shop, also where we will deck the cylinder. He is doing all the machining, helping me insall the sleeves and I am doing the rest.

Some may say he's all about racing, but I have seen alot of his work, talked to him, felt his engins and nothing else compares to me. IMO

The cylinders are ready for decking, that was so easy droping the sleeves, also have to rough bore the cylinder before it goes out.

are you gonna epoxy the humps in the intakes?Looking great

Yea, I wasn't shure to do it after I started grinding or before, so I started grinding and thats how far I got. I will get it close and prob put the epoxy in the runner and smooth it all out from there.:icon16:

I never heard what those were for, I'm just going by the cases I've seen done by Tim Judge, I think they call it updraft porting. Also gonna use a angled reed spacer. Here are the cylinders decked, ready for rough bore.
