for the intake to fill it in i would use nothing but z spar epoxy that will not come out and can take a ton of temperature.the nascar engine builders use it in their intakes so is def good stuff

I'm goin by what TJ told me to use, he uses gray Marine tex, but I just talked to my father and z spar is what they use on their intakes and heads, (Nascar). So now I am torn on what to use....

Case Epoxy

In responce to the type of epoxy Billy should use on his case,Goose,I agree on the use of Z-SPAR,we use it here on our SB-2 heads and intake manifolds. On the other hand,MARINE TEX will work just fine(ask Tim Judge),proof,it was used in JP's Blaster and has never came off.Its very important to properly prepare the case and clean it,also mix the epoxy as per instructions(we all know that). In my opinion Billy, keep using the MARINE TEX,you've done a excellent job so far,and if it was not good epoxy,i'm positive Tim would have not said to use it.After all, look at his winning record.Well, time to get back to work,ya'll have a nice day! :bigok:

i dont have any doubts in the marine tex but and TJ knows his stuff but if i were doin it i would go with the z spar if people are puttin it in the intakes of 35 to 40,000 dollar motors i would think of it as a cheap insurance.

I appreciate where you are comming from Goose, Z spar is $$$, and the rest of the cases are Marine Tex, I just talked to TJ and he reassured on marine tex, prepping is where its at.

what are your plans for centering the battery in front of the flywheel? You making some sort of retaining device?

Jasons neighbor works for the Red Bull race team and is making me a custom battery box/fuel pump bracket, I'll get pics as soon as he starts. Hope I don't get contested, I think you need to have the stock gas tank in AM 1 freestyle....:scratchchin:

I am gonna use the stock tank mount and the two inner battery box mounts, make the box and have a cradle system. Also the tank will mount to the box along with the fuel pump.

I got the pistons from LPW, 85mm R&D, BIG thanks to Paul for the speedy delivery.

Got the V force 3's, they are a little different, had to grind the top of the case to fit them.

Did TJ say to install the sleeves before porting the transfer and boost ports?

How much material did you take off the top and do you know where you squish band gap is set at? :scratchchin:
