The companys name is HM Elliot Coatings, in Mooresville, not shure on the web site. He was Rusty Wallace's Head engine builder in the 80's and early 90's, he's been coating since 94 and does all my dads pistons and bearings everywhere he worked. He came highly recomended.

As luck would have it, I assembled the motor, purrrdy at that, as I was checking squish I found a bent rod, could not believe it. So now the motor has to come down and a new crank is on the way. I'll get a pic of the engine before it comes down. thats a real :nutkick:

The squish was off by .008 from front to back, you can see the pistons to one side of the bore, still went together ok, I'll get a pic of it. The front cylinder had .035" squish, even. No to the balancing, the crank end I cut off a bad crank and my dad trued it before starting.

Never mind they're a bunch of porting pictures on the Judge Motorsports web site. :grumble:

When some advertizes porting it helps to see some of their work because you can usually judge how much effort and time was spent.

Well I got a new crank from Riva, Trued and welded, not cheap. I got the motor together and checked squish, its a little tight at .035". TJ said I might be able to run it but dont over rev it!! I think I may machine the domes to get .039" to .040". I'm waiting on the hood and battery box anyways. I have a hood if I need to borrow one to ride, still looking at a week or two. Pics to follow.
