my b1 62t build up

picked up this hull bout a month ago for 200 bucks
with a clean title, had no motor electronics, exhaust,
pump was locked up, steering cable broken, hull is solid only one little crack,

then picked up a 62t raider with a single carb, on a dubble trailer with a 650 couch for 500 bucks sold the 650 to my boss for 500,
so im still in it for 200 lol

picked up some good parts
westcoast head
tdr reeds
r&d intake grate
pjs ride plate
camo print hydroturf
friend gave me a wet jet pipe
and a 800 waterbox ( i modified it)
the motor already had a single carb and adapter on it,
made a rear exhaust outlet, and modified the waterbox

started on it this week finally, and i just got reallly bussy with some side work
so i got a friend that is gonna lay some carbon on it this weekend for me
2 layers on the trandsom and one layer in the inside on the seam, since i defoamed the whole thing

rear exhasut hole is cut, rear deck is cut, just waiting on the carbon to come in and together she goes

its gonna get painted alll black after its done and the kinks are worked out, and when i get soem money for the new prop im gonna need, i just unstuck the old one for now had to take a porting bit to knock down some humps on teh wear ring for now,

finally some pics

and trav did you find them vbands yet lol

hopefully i can have it done next week sometime just depends on how long it takes him to lay the carbon, if he does a good job ill see if i can hook anybody up doing some more work,

You are going to have to do some glasswork to make that wetjet pipe fit unless you have a certain exhaust manifold.

I tried to do the same thing and the pipe would not fit unless I notched the hull. I wound up buying a protec from a friend and ditched the wetjet pipe altogether

i think im gonna cut the corners of the footwells out tonight and lay some carbon down on them also that will make a :):):):) ton more room to work with and id be able to use the wet jet pipe also, might as well lol

yeah well im not doing the carbon work lol i just have to cut the hole lol so i think im just gonna do that and it will make for working on it easier also, im gonna try and do that tonight and take some pics of the progress

now i kind of need a idea of where to jet the carb at, its a 44mm guessing a stock one to, probably bring some drill bits with me to the lake lol, do some testing

well went ahead a choped a hole in the side of it lol got plenty of room for any dam pipe id want lol probably could fit the stock raider pipe now gonna get some pics up today hopefully before it goes in for the carbon work

Stock raider pipe works well and makes decent power. Got a buddy who did that on a blaster and it runs good.
