I'm not sure i'm 'legit' enough to post in here with the 1000cc+ club LOL!!!
This video reminds me of the debate about those Japanese guys getting stupid air doing BF, Rolls etc... The debate was: "anyone could do that, its just pull the trigger and hold on with a big enough motor" and the 'other side' saying "its skill, not just a big motor."
Imagine if you brother had that ski for a week, or a month to learn on. My feeling is its a little of both... but this is an intresting demonstration.

Outside of that statement, congrats to your bro, and to you for being fortunate to have such a awesome setup. Ready to see vid of that new prop in action. Ground Control to major Tom.

It looks like we've left the world of "look at the size of my skillz" to "look at the size of my wallet"

this thread just shows that money is the most important (possibly only) aspect of flatwater flips. After your wife flips maybe you can get a vid of your dog doing it next.

yep im with you on this one.... its great to see this thread and great setup and all.. if you got the money why not yeah, hell id do the same if i had the cash. But it would be great to see a bone stock xfs as shown on youtube or similar ski flat water backy by a regular rider... now that would be impressive.
Keep the vids comin...

Okay, I can see this thread going the wrong direction.
Everybody breath deep and think happy thoughts. Let's imagine unicorns jumping over rainbows as we breath in..............and breath out.........

Unreal ski!

Josh is just trying to show how impressive the new set up is. Let's keep it on track.
Yes, most of us don't spend this much on skis, but I sure think it's cool and I would love the chance to ride it.

Right on tipafew, back on track.....I can get going real quick, even quicker now I'm out of the water for a few weeks with this ear drum crap....

The response on the Dasa 1100 has been great, its cool to see one local & not over seas.... A lot of locals around me have been XS only guys including me, but after riding this Dasa package & the cost/Service/how long to get one makes the dasa a no brainer if your going for big power...

Agreed, Every sport has the entry level guys all the way to the top. why blast him for having a ski at the top of the list? I personally still think there is a ton of skill needed to do those flips even with the crazy power. Your brother was looking good doing them, not like he was just holding on for the ride. I hope I get the chance to ride a ski on this level!!

As far as skill the big power makes you learn faster to move from one trick to the other & grouping tricks & combos together... Since I can't ride I'm going to work with my brother for the next 2 wks, I would guess in 2 wks he will be doing them off his setup wake rolls & backflips... After doing one BF hes hooked & now feels he can really do something in this sport.

My brother has been watching me ride for yrs now... I'm new to flatwater so its been cool to learn something new, my buddy lucas has pushed me to learn faster... But your right theres skill its not just brap, takes balls to which is what kills most people from learning new tricks

Its going to be a fun summer for sure

I did this video to show the power the dasa is making.... Brian at Thrust built this package & tuned it for me so I wanted to show the power its making... I already had a bad a** ski before I dropped the dasa in...

As far as deep pockets... that has nothing to do with this thread. Yes I have high dollar skis, airplanes, boats, etc. I work my a** off, I own my company which allows me to do this. Broke dick guys are never going to buy ski's like this
nor admit they would like to own one...

So keep riding for broke dick ski even if you still ride & dont post on my thread

wow, I must have hit a nerve. I'm sorry to have pissed you off.

What reaction were you looking for when you post that people with little to no skill could flip your ski?
