Thanks Deviantek, that link really helps me as I need a chinpad also. I'll be going the the green/black diamond cut hydroturf, but I haven't decided on the graphics yet...lol I snapped some more pics of the pole, I didn't get much done this weekend.

Looks good! My vote is still those green graphics I commented on earlier in the thread..but some nice sxi reprints from pwcgraphics.com would look good too..its just to bad monster tastes horrible! haha

Yeah I agree, monster does taste horrible. I've found that the Monster Rehab green tea is pretty good though. As for graphics, I guess I might as well just bite the bullet and get the ones I want and be done with it huh?...lol Thanks for the kick in the ass bro...lol

Haha just givin you a hard time about the monster decals, I have a white one on the front of my Icon helmet for my R6, looks like it should have came on the helmet...anyhow you going with that blue design you liked but in green or? Those decals look so sick, if I re-do my SJ its gettin some nice decals like that, I just have a tough time even thinking about taking off my stock decals because its rare to still have them ugh!!

I think it'll be the green ones & green design, I don't see a need for graphics that will be underwater. I really didn't want to pull my graphics off either since they were in such good shape for a 1995, but hey...whats done is done.

You guys think the Blowsion pre-cut kit for the digger footholds will fit my Toby's footholds? Or do you think I should just get the sheet's of turf and do it myself?

I haven't, you might get lucky but it would probably look better doing it yourself.

I was told they are usually cut too small. Plus they wont be large enough to run padding on the sides

nice build! dont get the digger custom cut for those holds like sxipro said its is cut to small and if you do it yourself it will look alot better just take your time with it

Nah no updates...lol I been slacking, been working on the 67 Mustang I'm restoring. I bounce back and forth between projects alot, I have 2-4 projects going at any given time...lol

So I guess I'll be getting the stuff to finish up the ski so I can ride for the season. I was out today at city island and it got me itchin to ride. Just figured I'd give a lil update.

I got the pole and everything all mounted and bolted down tonight, handlebars on, cables attached, everything's ready besides the graphics once the turf gets done.

I like it. I just scored a 1994 750SX that I got back to running condition. I do have an extra set of dual carbs and intake (actually a complete motor and drivetrain) from a 1994 SS XI sit-down. I was entertaining putting the dual carbs on the SX motor, would that be an issue? The top end on the SS XI motor needs to be gone through if I were to use it, but what about just swapping to dual carbs?

Right off hand I can't give you a for sure answer to your question, but if the manifold will bolt up then I don't see why it wouldn't work.

I went to order my stuff from Blowsion today and it told me shipping was going to be 161$ WHAAAAA?? So I called and asked what the deal was, it turns out there's a glitch on the shipping calculator for turf. So I ended up getting everything ordered but the black turf I ordered won't be in till wends/thurs, no biggie though. That may give me time to also order some graphics and a few other odds and ends I want to get to button her up for this seasons riding.

So here's some progress work that I got done on the turf today. I'm trying to take my time since its my first turf job. Lemme know what u guys think so far.
