I was looking through my photobucket at all the jetskis I have owned.... quite the collection!
And my wife says I have a problem.... pishh
What is your Jetski History timeline?
First ski Bought in 10/10: 89 650sx stock.... I had to keep it in my friends garage so my parents wouldent find out I bought it hahah. Spent tons on money and time on it that winter buying parts and fixing it up to go fast
There was actually a 750sx and some 550's in here I found but my Friend bought.... we wont count these....
Second ski Bought in 02/11: 97 SJ (still current ski) Bought stock. Spent tons of money with b-pipe, ada, hooker, ect
Third ski Bought in 07/11: 05 SXR (or there about) and current ski. Spent some money fixing up x-metal pole, ride plate stuff
Fourth ski Bought in 08/11: 95/94 FX1 cant remember which... it was stock 701:
CLEAN!
It literally had new spark plugs in it.... my friend owns this ski now
Fifth ski Bough in 08/11 (I think two days later - I didnt even know any FX1's existed in CO!) 95 FX1. The VIN was 6#'s off the other one I just bought:
Sixth ski: Bought in 03/12 92 650 SJ. Paid $300 for it - cheapest ski to date (but not by far). Sold the 650 motor for $350 and put a 701 in it. Did a ton of work to it, rebuilt it from ground up with RN pole ect:
Day I got it (after cleaning it)
Middle or resto project:
Done! One of my fav skis to date.... it was nice when I sold it
Seventh Ski: 06/12 04 SJ. Stocker but cleeeean.
Eighth Ski: 06/12 05 GTX? Forgot what year.... I had to buy it to get the SJ.... I only owned this for like a week, but we went on a camping trip where you can only access the campsite via boat/jetski and had a realy blast with this ski hahaha. I have good memories of this GTX....we rode the crap out of it
Ninth Ski: 08/12? 07 SXR. I think this was the cleanest ski I have ever bought and I have bought alot of clean skis...... still pissed at myself for selling it. I am still activly looking for an SXR. Sold it to Chase here on the form.... arggg
Man I miss this one.... was supposed to be for an 1100.... augh I dont wanna talk about it any more
Break from skis.... bought an ATV in 11/12... so far spent alot of money time fixing it up. 2011 Sportsman 550XP I figured since I live in CO I need to get out of the lakes and into the mountains ever now and then....
Tenth ski! Bought in 04/13 96 SJ modded and ready to GO! I not have twins with two 96/97 skis w/ stock graphics. Im told this is rare.... Clean ski! Havent rode it yet...
Eleventh Ski! Bought in 04/13. Got it for the SJ.... 95 XP. Might ride it for awhile.... wife loved the GTX back in the day
