my second sn build

lots of work there... i was going to do my gunwales on my RN but im afraid of making it heavier... i heard of people wanting to try the turf idea but every one is afraid of it peeling up. I hope it does work out well for you. looks sweet. youll be able to grip the whole ski when riding! ill have to check this beast out in Daytona.

I think I realize why you turfed everything now.... After foaming my nose similar to how you did it, I'm going to have my work cut out trying to smooth it over. The foam was perfect when I laid the fiberglass. Now it looks like crater city!

Dude, the turfed ski is SICK!!!!

Nice job, only thing I would recommend is to cut your nose turf off and wrap the nose section (where the cover used to go) and turf it in one solid piece.

Have you tried to pull off a fountain yet? With all that turf I bet you could hold on to the ski down to like 6 feet underwater!

Superglue ALL the edges or I can almost guarantee that they will lift up and tear off.
