IMO RRP poles only work well on some skis. If the pole sits on top of the ski it doesn't flow nicely but if they sit tucked down into the hood and nose I think they look good... Your setup looks great!!

Thanks, but the pole is just sitting there and the pole pads are not on. So it will sit a little higher.

Try to figure out a pole spring also. The pole got very heavy on my sky.

The pole is so short on the Q8, it's not that heavy. I rode mine all last year with no probs, and I aint no spring chicken either.

I did get used to it. That was the biggest complaint on my ski

Thanks, got the engine and pump on the way, so now I'm down to just collecting the smaller items.

Any recommendations for Jaz tanks? order from Thrust? and how will I secure it? I saw the Ski Clinic just came out with those pods.

hmm, I know Sammy (Smusleh) has a Jaz in his q8. Ill have to ask him about what size it was and how he secured it.

I have a 2 gallon in mine and I secured it with rubber bungees.

SickSXR07 (something like that) has a Q8 and fit a NYNJA chamber in it. It looked like his tank was pretty big if I remember right. Might want to check his out too

the JS550 tank fits fairly well, I am going to be looking into the Jaz 3 gal. Thrust sells them, but no pic on their website. epoxy inserts for hold downs is pretty easy.
