That was one of the best setups I have ridden. That 865 was dialed perfectly!

While the motor is out I decided to address the pole bolt setup. It was always loosening, not because the bolts where loosening but because they were blowing out my Teflon washers I had in place. I remedied the problem with some fender washers. And yes my breathers go all the way up just moved them to get to the bolts.

I had the same issue and tried the same thing but didn't work. New bushings did the trick, haven't loosened up once since.

I think it should work, Since the bolts weren't loosening before, but only time will tell.

got on the water yesterday. Spent the 1st hour wrenchin

The nut on the MSD was loose so the rev limiter came out of adjustment and the ski was bouncing off it anytime you hit mid throttle. Thankfully the JSS ebox is so clean it was easy to take split and put back together. After that, She ripped!

we werent filming anything yesterday but:
1st attempt on random boat wake (not the first wake either)- I nosed is straight down.
2nd attempt plate to plate but didnt gas it soon enough and just tipped over to the side.

After that I was trying on some smaller boat wakes and a few setup wakes and nosed them in, but didnt ride anyout. @EvanKrefski saw me nose one straight down, kinda hurts the face hitting the water like that lol.

All I can say is I am super happy with the purchase. Prop size is perfect Thanks to @smusleh for letting me copy his old Q8 Setup. Just a couple more attempts and I know Ill ride em out. Unfortunately I am leaving Wednesday for 2 weeks for work

oh and I also chopped the ride plate off flush with the back of the hull finally (before riding yesterday). That made a big difference. The ski seems much more throw able, but that may be the motor too

Got a chance to take this thing for a ride yesterday...cool ski and power plant...was pretty dialed in for day 1

Good upgrade Jordan...flips attempts are looking awesome...it's only a matter of time

Little update for any other EME builders. The pole bushing setup didnt work. I did find one that does work. My Wife's is setup with a double RRP bushing setup (4 total). So you install the two outer bushings like normal, then take the extra two grind them down a little bit so the go on the inside of the pole (bolt side), then install bolt and washer. This setup works, bolts dont loosen and it stays right were you adjust it.

Sold the hull to @Parkersxr. It left today to Cali. Sad to see it go (did my first backflip on this ski), but excited for the new owner to take his riding to the next level with this hull, I will certainly miss it. Levi, check out the above post for the pole setup if you go RRP.

For followers of the thread that are about to ask what I am buying next. I'm not spilling any beans.... 3 weeks or so and you will see.
