Thanks guys, AVG was the one I was told to use just wanted to see what others said.

AVG for me too. I also use malware bytes on some customers computers that are really messed up. It takes all night to run but it finds everything!

I would have to disagree with that. I used comcasts free mcafee and got a bunch of viruses with it, then switched to avg and it cleaned them all up and have been virus and trojan free since.

Funny you mention Comcast. I have heard of a bunch of folks that have Comcast and use AVG and it porks their email(Comcast email). Most people strip out the AVG and go with Avira out here, or they just use gmail instead of the Comcast email service. I am not a fan of McAfee myself.

comcast email is ok if you use the web based email, actually anyone who uses anything but web based email is at a very high risk.

i too had been using avg since i saw it on tech tv years ago, but recently had a weird trojan and avg didn't catch it. i installed avast an it took care of it pretty easily, but i'm looking for something else and have been meaning to try nod32, but the whole not free thing has kept me from it. i hate the few extra processes avast and avg make.
