Need help finding sunkin' ski (Not Anymore!!!)

hey guys don't get the thread locked.

Good news, skywalker was searching today and found something worthy of sending the diver down to check out. Hopefully he can get the diver to go out today or tomorrow.

Fingers crossed

I finally got some time to go back out and look for my ski. I have been busy with on the side jetski repair, then most days it was to windy to look.I have a way better grasp on how to find things and what they actually look like now from my previous finds. So I went out this morning and backtracked what I thought happened the day it went down. I would say within 30 minutes I had spotted a promising figure. So I went directly over it and sure enough it was something sticking up from the bottom. It is about 5 feet tall from the bottom. That kind of make sense due to the mushy bottom the diver said he felt last time. So I am thinking that it must be nose down stuck in the mud and the back end is bouyant???????? There is nothing, I mean nothing around it at all, flattttttttt. So its either my ski or someone need to ditch there refridgerator:biggthumpup: . Gonna cost me $150 to see what it is, I guess it is worth doing. There cant be that much down there I wouldn't think. You have no idea how happy I would be if that was it. So, thanks for all the support and I will let you know tomorrow.

Your never gonna believe it but at 3:00 pm we brought my ski out of the lake. :cheer: Turns out that when it sank the rear of the ski went strait down and stuck in the mud. The nose was pointing strait up, ha ha. My diver Ben went down and found in no time at all. We got out on the water at 1:30 and were back with it at the boat ramp at 3:00. Chad helped me out a ton today with getting it out and torn apart. Also give thanks to Dale and Brain for doing the same. The motor is in great shape,no rust at all ,unreal. The hull was covered in a thin film of moss, but it power washed right off. The ski stunk something terrible,we ended up finding what was left of a dead fish below the motor, wierd huh... Poor ski all alone in the dark and stinky. I am still in a little shock, . I want to give thanks to all of you that kept giving me hope, I would have given up a long time ago if it wasn't for you. Well that’s my story,we can all close the book.

The End
SKYWALKER
