SKYWALKER said:Ok Tom (superramjet) found this bad ass fish finder, but its way more than that. Take a look at what it can do and tell me if I should buy it. I think it will do it.

Glory_Freestyle said::thinkerg: That's not a bad idea. Maybe they'll send one out for free if Luke and Tom promise to video the whole process so they could use it as promo video.
 On the other hand, they're a fishing company, they might just think it's hillarious that a jet ski sunk.:frown:
sflsurfrider said:its not a jetski. his "boat" sunk. :sneaky:
meatball said:Luke, I've used a lot of fishfinders, and work at a fishing/hunting shop. A traditonal on with a simple vertical screen wont work, but that one that shows the horizontal will work it you get it. Thats the type they use to find plane wrecks and such. If you get it, let me know when your done, I might buy it off you.
there is almost nothing magentic on a SJ, I was thinking about some kind of magnetic scanner until I realized that the motor is aluminum, the pump is aluminum and all the stanless parts are non-magnetic also.Whtbread said:Here is an idea. I know there is not a lot of metal on a ski but they make those magnets that are supposed to lift 500 lbs out of the water. If you ran that thing back and forth over the area you might find it. If not, who knows maybe you will find enough junk to buy a new sj.
maybe only the crank, rods, bearings.Whtbread said:I knew most of it was aluminum but thought there would be something it would grab.
