A couple of the Oside guys were talking about sunken boats the other day. In AMCF 2 Mac sinks an SXI Pro to the bottom. They never found it. Sometime last winter a Yellow SXI Pro with no foam washed up on the beach in Oside. It was full of sand, and had obviously been sitting at the bottom of the ocean for quite some time. 90% sure it was Macs boat.

When anything unusual pops up on the finder throw a weighted bouy out to mark the spot. It will make it much easier to go over the same spot you just went over to check it out.
Another great thing to do is drag a diver using a planning board off the back of the boat while you are searching. We do this in the keys when we are looking for lobster holes. Those planning boards will be able to get you just above the bottom and you'll be able to pull the diver at about 5 knots. Its actually a lot of fun riding those planning boards too.

You have the best attitude about this situation. I really hope you find your ski. I would have punched out every wall in my house if I lost my boat. I guess theres no use getting mad it doesnt help situation. BEST OF LUCK!!!

Its an unreal tool, but unfortunatly no luck yet, I will try some more. I am wondering when is enough enough you know. I am making a combined 100 ft swap of the bottom every time,but I dont see anything. It shows awesome clearity of everything on the bottom, picture like, crazy. Why isnt it there, maybe it is and I am not sure what it might look like after a month. Or.... Or.... Or..... Im gettin close.
