need opinion best freestyle hood nosepiece and low bracket

24/7 hood and nose piece with an xmetal pole and bracket work great and look great together!

(i was jumping on my hood last night showing my buddy how strong it is)

but some would say lesser quality... I am personally very satisfied with my WDK setup, but others will argue.

even if it was, id rather spend 400 bucks rather than 800 bucks on something that doesnt do that much as far as performance goes. i couldnt justify 900 bucks for a blowsion hood. when im ready to buy mine, it'll be a wdk for sure!

Good luck getting anyone to answer your email. I spoke with someone there saying Jeff would return my email or call. That was 5 days ago. Oh well, business must be good.

he'll say anything to sound too busy to do what he already said he'd do... Good luck. I like his parts, but communication is horrible.

And my bracket didn't even come anodized...

You could just ask him for non anodized one, and then find a local shop around you. Go to the shop and ask them to wait until they get a batch they are gonna do, and just slip yours in, and hopefully it will be cheaper.

there are lot of places down here that do it. You can have it sent to me, and I'll take it somewhere... but you'd be surprised of how many places do that kinda of stuff, or atleast know somewhere to send it out to. Just look up "coatings" in the yellow pages and call all the places and ask them if they do anodizing, or where you can find a place in your area that does.

I wouldn't wait for Jeff, he you let him, he'll take all that time you say you have to wait.

Tons of good hoods on the market now.

I'm getting a Wammer. Don't ask why.

I would not spend $900 on a Blowsion hood. The styling of it isn't as nice as others.

I would personally buy/like the look of

WCF
Wamiltons
24/7
ATP
XFT
Waterdawg - great value

Other than that its personal preference. I have an 8 hold Wammer, I don't do hood tricks really but the price was right, so thats why I got it.

I've always wanted an ATP hood, shipping and duty will be the killer as far as price goes.

Anything that is lowered and looks as close to stock as possible! Nothing looks as good and fits like a stocker!

If your cheap by a WDK. I have damaged one pretty bad though.... the lay up is as cheap as could possibly be. The fit isnt to great. Your getting what you pay for.

The best quality hood I have seen for a SJ is the XFT. This would be my top choice for a SJ Hood. Best materials, nice fit, and nice finish.... the guy knows his composites.

Id rather buy one hood at 1000 that would last a life time over a 400 hood that only lasted about 4 rides before I lost the nose piece and ripped the liner half way apart from the shell.... to each his own, I learned my lesson.

I wish Bobby at Trinity would make a SJ hood.

The new 24/7 looks pretty good, but Im not sure of Mark's knowledge with composites yet.

The layup of Pat Bogarts new hulls + hoods looks pretty nice as well.... I havnt seen him push the product much though.

Do it twice?That's DooDoo
Dont worry so much about which one to get... just get the one that looks the best to you, and if you are worried about cost- then get the cheapest... as long as you get lowered and a set of handholds... thats what you are going for... the real high price ones will be carbon fiber... if you can afford that-then the weight savings is also a big plus... everyone has their favorite... you will not get a unanimous answer here... its like asking people which softdrink is the best...
