New EME exhaust system for superjets!

How will this pipe work on a ported 701? Is it mainly for big cc motors, or will there be gains on smaller setups over the b?

I believe that the manifold design alone has to be a significant improvement, but is the chamber designed for the smaller motors as well?

Will the aluminum chambers be sold at a discounted rate lol?

This is what I am now wondering. I spoke with Brian (Virgin) on the phone earlier today about purchasing one of these pipes, but he never mentioned there was a carbon version.

I'd have to think though the aluminum version would be better overall, although the carbon does look bad ass!

Brian, Is it an all carbon chamber or is it a carbon wrapped aluminum chamber? Looks like a welded seam in the picture covered by carbon fiber.

I believe that it is carbon and that the mold was taking off an aluminum chamber .

I thought at one time testing was done on carbon chambers and due to their lack of sound reflectivity, they were deemed not a good substitute vs. aluminum?

sorry roo . i relized after i got of the phone with you i was mostly responding to your original post but thses should be available in your time frame . but these are all carbon except the coupler . they are approximatly 10lbs lighter as well and will be sold by EME . eric has already tested this pipe shown and was just as happy with the perfomance . the aluminum version will be sold by power factor products . so the pricing will be up to each vendor . but from my info they should be very close in price .

I still want to go with the aluminum version, but was just kinda shocked to see another version hours after I talked to you.

Time frame, still talking a month+ out then, eh? Guess that's not a huge deal... My riding season is over until next year. :cheer2:
