Just stuck mine on my ski this morning and this thing is CRAZY set-back. You couldn't get the blades much closer to the stator vanes...

Dave, with your hooker 9/15 are their any other pump mods you would recommend on a limited RN? Cone, bored nozzle?

Mine just arrived UPS today, and I just installed it this evening
but haven't ridden it yet. I hope to tomorrow morning.

This is replacing a Solas YB-SC-I, so I took a few
side-by-side comparison pictures so you can see the difference.

OK, dudes. I rode today with my new "hooker".

I don't have any experience with modified impellers on a Superjet
to compare it to, but it made a HUGE noticeable difference
over the Solas I that I did have.

I would say as far as bottom end "umph" this prop did almost as much as
going from the stock exhaust to a b-pipe. Response is instant.

Maybe other props do something similar when they are repitched and set back, but I was very happy with what the hooker did for my bottom end.
Great work, Impros!:headbang:

My current setup is stock head, stock dual 38s, factory pipe limited, MSD enhancer, and Worx 201 scoop grate feeding the pump.

The Short cone and nozzle sizes are fine tuning tools to change how the ski feels, how well it "pops" outta the hole, change engine rpm and speed. I like the cone in most cases, but you can run a stock nozzle with these. There's just no "general" answer that works for everyone's set up. Start with stock cone and nozzle, and swap them to adjust the ski how YOU like it...
Take care
David

i am stilling running my 650 stainless impeller on my sj. i called David yesterday and will have my hooker on Friday.:bow28:

never paid for a hooker before. :hititbanana: but i just couldn't pass this one up. lol

i am really thinking about getting one of these hooker props. what do you recommend for a 760 sj with single 46 carb, msd enhancer, factory wet pipe. i would like to get all the bottom end i can get from this ski. not concerned about top end.

Has anyone who swapped props checked to see what these props are doing to ending rpms?

I should really get a tinytach.
I have no idea what mine was before or after, but my hooker caused
no perceptible reduction in top-end speed (not that I run WOT very often)
and that's good enough for me.

i just installed a hooker in my SJ and it RIPS!

litterally..... my pump shoe ripped out after about 15 minutes of riding.

before that, it was a HUUUUUGGGEEE positive difference over my stock concord.

i gained tons of hookup, bottom and mid power, but lost a little off the top. just the way i like it.

GREAT PRODUCT, DAVID!

thanks!
